Energy NewsData is a publisher of news and information for the West Coast energy industry. Met monthly with the managing editor and IT director for over a year to articulate the company’s vision for a digital transformation, summarized in a 48-page report. Deliverables included: reader survey analysis; Google Analytics analysis; SWOT analysis; competitive analysis of 6 firms; user interview and persona development; review of Content Management Systems; site mockups designed in Adobe XD and rebuilt in WordPress with HTML/CSS; custom WordPress/InDesign integration script; and custom WordPress admin dashboard.
Developed branding, layout, and content for lead-generation content targeting C-suite level corporate leaders. Performed original data analysis of the 2019 proxy season, summarized in an executive briefing and interactive Tableau dashboard. Led promotional campaign via email and social media, including social media influencer analysis and email list segmentation.
Worked with Communications Director for King County Executive Dow Constantine’s office and Continuous Improvement Team. Performed strategic communications study for “Best Run Government” campaign website targeting 14,000 employees and 2 million county residents.
Working as Communications Manager, I led the development of communications media for dozens of nationally recognized civic architecture projects, involving multi-media storytelling across diverse channels and formats. Wrote copy and press releases, curated image assets, directed video and photo shoots, coordinated awards program, and led post-occupancy user research studies. My work led directly to multiple successes including winning the 2016 AIA National Firm Award.
